Why is SpaceClaim unable to open a supported third party CAD model and give the error “Failed to attach”?

ParticipantIt may happen that SpaceClaim is not able to read the model when the Workbench plugin is configured. To read the model in SpaceClaim, enable the SpaceClaim Reader. In the SpaceClaim window go to “Application Menu > Spaceclaim Options > File Options > Workbench”. Check the box next to the option “Always use SpaceClaim reader”
