FAQ
ParticipantThis parameter helps to stabilize a solution if it is diverging due to unwanted frequencies/oscillations that are not happening at the period(s) of interest or harmonics. Frequency filtering should not affect a final solution.
Note that this expert parameter has been obsolete for the past few releases. Frequency filtering settings can now be accessed directly from the TBR setup panel under Fourier Transformation Control > Advanced Options tab. The Scaled Domain Damping option requires that you set a value for the Damping Scale Factor. This value is a dimensionless positive number that has a lower bound of 0.0, (no filtering). The recommended value for Damping Scale Factor is 1.0.
