FAQ
ParticipantModeling trace points on PCB layer mesh using External Data gives an approximate equivalent material property representation on each element but will be computationally efficient. Modeling the Cu trace geometry with contact will constitute a higher fidelity representation and so will be more accurate method and provide more detailed information in calculated results. It doesn’t involve any approximation but is much more computationally expensive.
