FAQ
ParticipantUnder CAD Import in BladeModeler, you have the choice of exporting the geometry to a script with a .js extension or to a neutral data file. Both can be read back into BladeModeler as new geometry. When a blade geometry is imported from CAD to a script, it is possible to encounter several error messages despite there being no actual problems with the geometry: (1)Fluid body revolve failure (2)Blade body creation failure (3)Solid model creation failure In this case, it is possible that the script file (.js) may just be failing to to extract the design. The workaround is to try the Neutral Data Format file. This is a newer format and will cause fewer errors.
