ParticipantIn 2D: Region boundaries: No default boundary conditions, vector potential or balloon is needed. (In electric solver with voltage excitation no boundary condition needed). Boundaries between the objects: So called natural boundary condition is applied by default – normal component of B is continuous over the interface in magnetic solvers, and normal component of D changes by the amount of surface charge density over the interface in electric solvers. In 3D: Region boundaries: So called Neumann boundary condition is applied – H is tangential on the region boundaries in magnetic solvers and E is tangential on the region boundaries in electric solvers. Boundaries between the objects: Same as in 2D.
