Question: What should I do if NX Associative interface works with Design Modeler and Mechanical/Meshing, but SpaceClaim Direct Modeler is unable to read in NX Geometry ?

      Answer: 1. Design Modeler associative interface works since Associative interface was configured successfully 2. For SpaceClaim to read in NX geometry files, it must use reader mode which may not have been configured yet. 3. The reader mode should also be configured after configuring the associative interface without un-configuring the Associative interface in order for SpaceClaim Direct Modeler to be able to read in NX files Configure the NX reader mode (without un-configuring NX Associative plugin) by running ANSYS CAD Configuration Manager as administrator. Then select the NX reader mode and use CAD Configuration tab to configure the selected CAD interface. Look for Success in the log area whitespace in the CAD configuration Manager GUI. Try starting SpaceClaim now and reading in a NX part file, it should work now. Note: Silent mode can be used to duplicate the configuration steps if multiple computers are having issues reading NX geometry into SpaceClaim Direct Modeler.
