Watch & Learn
ParticipantA popular layout tool that can generate an ODB++ database is Mentor Xpedition. In this video, you’ll learn how to translate Mentor Xpedition designs to ANSYS SIwave. The video shows how to export an ECAD geometry to an ODB++ database. The video also explains in detail the options you need to select while exporting the printed circuit board to an ODB++ directory. ANSYS SIwave is then used to import the ODB++ directory. In this way the printed circuit board is translated from Xpedition to SIwave.
