Watch & Learn
ParticipantThis video shows how to directly launch ANSYS SIwave from Cadence SPB products. The ECAD translation is facilitated by ANSYS ALinks for EDA that appears under the ANSYS menu items in the Cadence SPB products. A comprehensive list of third party layout tools for which ANSYS officially supports ECAD translations is also shown. To illustrate, a Xilinx board in the .brd format is imported into Allegro PCB Editor and translated into SIwave. The layer stackup for both Allegro and SIwave are then compared to confirm that the translation is accurate. ANSYS Electronics software is the premier, integrated solution for electromagnetic field, circuit, systems and multiphysics simulation and analysis.
