I am running the new Fluent PUMA mesh adaption method, where the recommendation is to deactivate Warped-Face Gradient Correction (WFGC) under Solution Controls. When I save the case and reopen it, WFGC is checked off again. Is this a defect?

FAQ
ParticipantThis is not a defect, but is a limitation of the PUMA method in Fluent V 18.1 and 18.2. Fluent is behaving correctly. Warped-Face Gradient Correction should automatically be activated for any mesh that contains polyhedral elements. This action corrects gradient errors associated with the non-planar nature of the polyhedral element faces.
