I am running Fluent and trying to write out hd5 file formats Every once in awhile Fluent crashes with the error below and others unable to open file: name = ‘C:/Users/CFD/OneDrive – XX/Projects/CFD/Ensight Post-Processing/simulation/simulation-4.cas.h5’, errno = 13, error message = ‘Permission denied’ What is causing this and how can I avoid the crash?

ParticipantThe path in the error indicates that Fluent is writing to a OneDrive (Cloud) folder. This is unsupported, as it can create problems with permissions and synchronization. Simulation files should be written to local folders to avoid delays and timeouts that can adversely affect the operation of Fluent.
