I am running an older version of ICEMCFD (V 19) on Linux and getting a segmentation error when I try to launch the GUI. In the command window behind the GUI, I see the error “Signal 11 caught!” What can be causing this? Is there a workaround?

ParticipantWith the age of the release and the likelihood that the Linux machine has a current graphics card, the error is probably graphical. Launching ICEMCFD with the “-x” option (for x11 graphics) should resolve the issue in most cases. example: icemcfd -x
