Solution
ParticipantWe can use the ‘Update Condition Parameter’ setting which is available as beta feature in 2019R1. A demo is available in attachment. As quality criterion, we define an output parameter as the maximum skewness. In our demo, we would like to solve the Fluent simulation only if the maximum skewness is under 0.8. To activate the beta options, we go in the Tools menu and select Options. Then in the Appearance, we check the Beta Options box. The ‘Update Condition Parameter’ setting is based on a boolean parameter. In the Parameter set, we define a new parameter (P5) which is true if the mesh quality parameter (P2) is smaller than 0.8. Then, in the properties of the Fluent solution, we assign P5 as ‘Update Condition Parameter’. We update all design points. At the end of the update, a DP was not updated because the maximum skewness was not satisfying.
