FAQ
ParticipantTo retain mesh on unchanged parts, on Workbench page first go to Tools –> Options–> Geometry Import–> Compare Parts on Update and set it as “Associatively”. Then add the new bodies to geometry and update the model in Meshing session. If newly added bodies are in separate parts, then the existing mesh will be fully preserved. If new bodies are added within existing part, all these new bodies and the old bodies which are connected to the new bodies will need to be meshed. Remaining all bodies will have their mesh preserved.
