ParticipantRMB on the Beam profile (say L profile for example) –> Import Component Groups. This will create the parameters corresponding to the cross section dimensions. The above process does not work if the beams are extracted directly from Solids. “Import Component Groups” is inactive (greyed out) in this case. If this is the case, RMB on Beam profile > Edit beam profile > Return to 3D mode > Create a driving dimension (say using Pull function to create a parameter for radius) > Close the cross-section geometry > Now “Import Component Groups” (which is now activated)
