Please use correct turbulence model. If the heavier particles and smaller particles are experiencing the same centrifugal forces, you can use K-E model. The K-E model will give good results but the pressure drop may be incorrect, because of swirling flow. So to avoid this, please use RSM-Stress BSL where the pressure drop and centrifugal forces will be physical.
