How to enforce EnSight to use the ANSYS Licensing system?

      You can force EnSight to use the ANSYS licensing system by setting the environmental variable: setenv ENSIGHT10_LM=ansys Also set the license environment variables since the standalone version of Ensight won’t read them from the ansyslmd.ini file. The format is @. Eg setenv ANSYSLMD_LICENSE_FILE 1055@mymachinename setenv ANSYSLI_SERVERS 2325@mymachinename This will make EnSight work with ANSYS FlexLM instead of slim8. (if you want to force EnSight to use slim8, set ENSIGHT10_LM to be “slim”).
