FAQ
ParticipantIn ANSYS DesignModelerm we are able to compute the volume of a body. We select the body then select the feature ‘Entity Information’ in the menu ‘Tools’ > ‘Analysis Tools’. However it is not possible to export it as a parameter to Workbench. A possible workaround is to transfer the geometry in ANSYS Meshing with a Mesh block. In ANSYS Meshing, from the structure tree, under Geometry > Properties, it is possible to export volume information as a parameter.
