FAQ
ParticipantParameters in ANSYS Workbench are assigned an ID number in the Parameter Set panel according to the creation sequence. For example, if the first parameter created is assigned ID 1, second parameter created will be assigned ID 2 and so on. If an existing parameter is deleted and created again, it will change its ID. One can control parameter ID by editing the Workbench project file *.wbpj. Open the file with a text editor, search for all instances of i.e. “P4” and replace them by “P1” if you want to rename P4 into P1. You can repeat this with other parameters. NOTE: Some parameters may have expressions referred to them. Be careful when renaming parameters in order to keep this dependency.
