How can I reference the x,y,z components of a user coordinate frame in CFX Pre? I have created a coordinate frame that aligns with the inlet of a pipe. The coordinate frame is called ‘Coord 1’. I want to specify the pipe inlet flow direction with cylindrical components using a ‘-1’ axial component, 0 radial component, and a theta component that varies with radius of the pipe. How can I set this up?

Solution
ParticipantIn CFX, the local coordinate frame can be referenced using x,y,and z, but the user coordinate frame must first be set as the local coordinate frame for the boundary condition being modified. Please see the attached reference document for details
