Fluent profile export maximum and minimum data range does not match with what is reflected in contour maximum and minimum

ParticipantProfile export the values are being exported at face center of the interior surface where as in contour the values shown are at node center or cell center(C0) based on the check mark of node values on or off. C0 cell the cell towards which the normal of that surface is oriented. This is the reason for the difference in results. Fluent otherwise does not have any option of reporting Face center values. Yes you can develop a udf to extract the values which matches the profile file using flux values. Exporting the ascii and then comparing with range with contour range will match
