FAQ
ParticipantIt appears there is a conflict with a .dll that Aspen uses and is placed in the C:WindowsSystem32 directory, libmmd.dll that is causing a conflict with Fluent and Mechanical launching. Check if libmmd.dll exists in C:Windowssystem32 and if so rename it and try Fluent or Mechanical 2020 again. Renaming that library allows Ansys to work as well as Aspen. Aspen is aware of this issue and has reported this has been fixed for Aspen V12.
