Ansys Discovery products are available to download from the Customer Portal at the link below. The current version is Release 2023 R2, released 12 July 2023.
The primary download packages are:
ANSYS DISCOVERY (8.36 GB)
Includes:
- Ansys Discovery
- Ansys SpaceClaim
- Ansys Geometry Interfaces
- Ansys License Manager*
ANSYS SPACECLAIM (3.23 GB)
Includes:
- Ansys SpaceClaim
- Ansys License Manager*
2023 R2 SERVICE PACK 2 (4.95 GB)
Includes latest enhancements for:
- Ansys Discovery
- Ansys SpaceClaim
Apply after installing the base release.
* These packages support both named user and floating licensing. Ansys License Manager is not required for named user licenses. It should only be installed if you are using an enterprise floating license.
Software packages for previous versions of Ansys Discovery and Ansys SpaceClaim products are available to download as well.

Add-on Packages
The Customer Portal also provides several add-ons which further enhance Ansys Discovery:
- For Autodesk Fusion users, an addin is provided for import of simulation projects from Autodesk Fusion 360 Simulation or Generative Design outcomes.
- Sample Addins contain several example add-ins to help you get started customizing Discovery to further enhance it for your simulation needs.
- Discovery Services is a server-side installation package which provides support for collaboration through your organization’s O365 network.
