ParticipantIn RHEL 6.4 an operating system modification was introduced by RedHat which results in this behaviour. This will be fixed for ANSYS 15.0. For ANSYS 14.5 and 14.5.7 the following workaround is available. 1. open the file “setup-mwuser” in the ANSYS installation directory ansys_inc/v145/commonfiles/MainWin/linx64/mw 2. go to line 102 and comment out this line with a # like # LD_LIBRARY_PATH=”${MWHOME}”/lib-${MWARCH_OS}/X11:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}”
