Reading Fluent *dat files in CFD-Post it imports two set of data for any simulation. Though using the option ‘read last result’ while importing/reading the data in CFD-Post. The above happens if both case and dat files are selected while reading in CFD-Post. Therefore one would visualize 2 sets of files in CFD-Post of which test1 corresponds to the case file and test 500 corresponds to the dat file. Therefore its only required to load only the dat file in CFD-Post. Also ensure to have the case file as well in the same folder otherwise it will throw up an error.
