ParticipantData Sampling in steady-state:
1) In general, not advisable as may not represent a physical solution
2) Some more or less plausible argument can be made about pseudo-transient in situations when the solution settles into a quasi-oscillatory state indicated ongoing unsteadiness. In this case one can argue that an average of the pseudo-transient solution could be a representative of its steady-state. In this case, this can be implemented via a straightforward user-defined function.
