ANSYS SpaceClaim: Is there a way to create a plane that bisects two STL mesh surfaces?

The simplest way to create a bisecting plane is to select the opposing faces simultaneously (Ctrl + Click) and then click the Plane button in the main tool bar. However, in order for that to work, the two faces have to be parallel. With STL meshes, this isn’t always a sure thing. You could use the Measure tool to find the distance between the two faces, then manually put a plane at the desired location. If you can find one good face on either side of the STL file, you can click that and make the plane, then position it with the Move tool.
