Watch & Learn
ParticipantThis video demonstrates how to calculate thermal stress from a fluid-solid heat transfer solution in ANSYS AIM. The fluid-solid heat transfer and structure simulations are solved separately. Temperature data is transferred from the solved fluid-solid heat transfer simulation into the structural simulation using the physics coupling interface. For the initial setup of the simulation, see the ANSYS AIM: Fluid-Solid Heat Transfer video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClHQo2ZaBE4). ANSYS AIM provides easy simulation software for design engineering in an integrated multiphysics simulation environment.
