Additive Print: When I export a distorted geometry (STL) from Paraview into Spaceclaim, the geometry comes in as if it has voxelized features. What causes this? Is there a workaround?

FAQ
ParticipantTaking the on-plate stress and distortion VTK, applying a warp factor and exporting as an STL, it will be an STL based off of the voxel file and will look that way. If you want the file that more closely approximates the original file without voxelization, you should use the “Geometry with Displacement” file and put that into Paraview to apply the warp factor, extract the surface (if needed), and save the STL file.
